Halcyon Equity Partners GP S.à.r.l. announces the successful final closing of Halcyon Equity Partners S.C.A. SICAR (the “Fund”), a Luxembourg-based private equity fund, reaching €208 million in assets under management.
Halcyon Equity Partners S.C.A. SICAR is a growth private equity fund investing in the Best of Greece, non-listed, mature Scale-ups, growth SMEs and Small Mid-Cap companies with strong management teams, a clear competitive edge and a scalable business model, supported by organic and/or inorganic growth potential.
The Fund’s investment strategy is tailored on identifying investment opportunities that are driven by innovation and entrepreneurship, while focusing on implementing a strong value-creation roadmap for portfolio companies This process extends beyond capital, with Halcyon Equity Partners actively supporting investees in strengthening management teams, enhancing governance frameworks, expanding internationally and enabling companies to pursue add-on acquisitions for growth to maximise stakeholders’ value.
Since its first closing, the Fund has completed five investments, across five different sectors, successfully deploying capital in line with its investment thesis: Zeus+Δione, a luxury fashion brand inspired by Greek heritage; Wheelsys, an innovative SaaS platform for the car leasing and car rental industry; Ergon, a Greek food and hospitality concept with international presence; Evoiki Zimi, a premium dough and filo production business; and Alfaomega, a leading pharma logistics and distribution company.
